Our story
Founded by two hospitality people who fell for the craft
We started Sumo Matcha in 2022, before the matcha boom hit Sweden. We couldn't find a matcha we truly trusted, so we went straight to Japan — to the farms in Kyoto and Kagoshima — and built something we'd actually drink ourselves every day.
Organic, clearly graded and packed in Sweden. No fluff, no compromises.
