Our Ceremonial Matcha comes from Uji, Kyoto — one of Japan's most respected matcha regions. We select it for its vibrant color, smooth character and clean, balanced taste. It's shade-grown, stone-ground and EU organic certified. This tea is a blend of two gorgeous tea cultivars, Saemidori & Okumidori. Ceremonial grade is the highest grade we offer. It's made for one thing: a pure cup of matcha. Whisk it with warm water, slow down for a moment and enjoy it as it is.

Ceremonial matcha

Ceremonial grade is our purest matcha — grown in the shade, stone-ground slowly and selected for color, flavor and quality. From Uji, Kyoto. EU organic certified. First flush harvest. Best enjoyed whisked with water at 80°C.

Organic

All our matcha is EU organic certified — grown without synthetic pesticides or chemicals. We think that matters, especially for a product you drink every day.

Ingredients

This product contains 100% organic Japanese matcha (Camellia sinensis).

How to make

  1. Start by heating 60ml of water to 80°C (176°F).
  2. Add 1 teaspoon (1.5g) of Ceremonial Matcha powder into a bowl.
  3. Pour the heated water into the bowl with the matcha powder.
  4. Whisk the matcha powder and water together until the mixture becomes smooth, frothy and lump-free.
  5. Pour the mixture into a cup.
  6. If desired, add more warm water to create a traditional matcha tea, or steamed milk for a matcha latte. You can also add sweetener to taste, such as honey or sugar.
  7. Enjoy your delicious and authentic cup of ceremonial matcha!
